Michael Morrison and Danny Green have been included in the latest League One Team Of The Week.
Morrison won the November player of the month accolade and Green has now found his shooting boots.
As expected, Ben Hamer’s appeal against the red card he received at Orient has been rejected. The Appeal Panel have to be presented with evidence that an obvious error had been made for them to be able to reverse a decision. Clearly, the decision was correct so there was never any chance of a reprieve but as we previously alluded to, the appeal was a delaying tactic to allow Hamer to face Brentford.
Darel Russell has had his loan extended until the end of the season and he would be available to play in any play-off games should Charlton be involved. This deal had been anticipated and Russell did not return north after the original loan expired on Tuesday.
Another unsurprising deal has seen Simon Francis complete a permanent move to Bournemouth, where he has been on loan. Only Gary Doherty and Johnnie Jackson now remain of the players brought in by Phil Parkinson. With rumours again surfacing about Powell’s desire to bring in Brentford’s Karleigh Osborne, it would seem that Doherty’s time at The Valley is also drawing to a close.
